King Serpent Variety Troupe
The King Serpent Variety Troupe consists of David Breen (artistic director/writer), Josephine Boone (stage manager/designer), Minstrel Michael (musical director), and Bill McIninch (co-writer/props builder); a new addition to the troupe is Peggy Rogers (co-writer/performer). Combined, they boast over a century of experience in the entertainment industry (really!) as performers, writers, teachers, and show organizers. Somewhere in the old west sits the Serpent Saloon, where audiences are entertained by the King Serpent Gang. Led by David Fork Tongue Tanner, the most notorious gunslinger and card shark in history, the show features sketch comedy, music, dance, and audience participation, until the surprise appearance of a traveling Holy Roller threatens to shut the whole saloon down.
